Wow, what a great excuse to stay in Moab and wheel some more! Snow in the passes.. Could you ask for more? :)

hope everyone had a great and safe time. can't wait to see all the pics.

Looks like I am the first one home. I have to say I had a blast and it was great to see old friends and make new ones... I will up load my pictures ASAP...

Well we just got home and WHAT A GREAT TIME!!!
I can tell you all that pictures will NOT do justice to extreme angles of the trails.
I have to agree with Kris, it was a lot of fun seeing some of the people we met before, but we finally got to meet some people we were really looking forward to meeting such as Kris, Alec for examples since I always talk to them in the chat room.
We also made some new friends such as Mike that we hope to see post more on the board and mud*****. By the way mud*****, your elete truck doesn't look anything like the one you brought out there.
I hope to have pictures up as soon as I figure how to do it with the new camera.

Hope the ones with Kris about tipping over shows up......but that is a story for later right Kris????

By the way Heath, the weather was fine coming back. Just can't believe we came from 80-90 degree weather to 60 degree weather. Maybe if we knew Tom's idea would have been a good one.

Well glad to see everyone is starting to get home ok! Hope (I know i mean) you all had fun post lots of pics for us that didn't get to go!

sweet

Thats agreat group photo Kris how many X's were there total?? I counted 23 in the picture!

This is horrible... I can only identify 3 explorers... Maybe 4 if thats Rick's in the back corner... Other than that I see mmpc's, Explorer Autority Gal, and Perry....

Since we know Alec isn't home yet, we can make fun of him and Splat.
Splat trying to get air!!

Not sure if everyone knows that Splat is just a two wheel drive, but we went one day to Top of the World and he only had to be strapped once because he got high centered.
Here is a good example of the different types of vehicles that went and I think I can speek for everyone, it doesn't matter what class you drive we all had fun.

As you can see, Splat is just in front of us on this trail.

where is matt I dont see his x!

well I just got back myself, had an EXCELLENT Trip, gotta say I think I had more fun then last year even (although it helped that I didn't have to talk to any idiot Ford engineers, especially any ones who nearly kill us!). The trail selection was great and as always I think everyone that went had a great time (except for those that we met the first day then never heard from again, what was up with that?).
Since no one else has mentioned it already, yes... I broke a PIAA this weekend. I'll have pictures online before too long. It had it coming though. Then doing a flex shot before leaving this morning I darn near broke another one, landed it right on another rock! This one held up though, LOL.

To all who made this trip there first "serious exploration", I hope you had a GREAT time.
To all those who had been on serious explorations before but this was your first Moab trip, hope you enjoyed it. I know I did!

Tom - we missed you on this trip! No one rolled, it was almost disappointing! :).

Alec - liked your supercharger, tell your girlfriend I really wasn't out to get her! Just making a few women jokes here and there.

Rick and Char - thanks for attending yet again! Sorry that you broke your bracket but I hope it's able to get fixed by the time of your next run!

To all the guys from Houston - thanks for driving the distance. I hope it was worth it for you!

To all who watched me do Lions Back - I want a copy of the videos, LOL

To anyone who has pictures of me doing anything (especially Lions Back or breaking my light in the golden crack, please post em :).

All in all it was one of my favorite serious explorations!! Thanks to everyone who made it possible! I should have pictures posted within a day or two, I'm still in the process of downloading, deleting, and uploading :)

Marshall, I am in there just tough to see from that angle!

Pretty hard to believe you can't see Matt. There were a few others that had to leave or didn't show up for the shoot.

If you look off to the left of perry's X you can see my Navajo

Well I just got back about an hour ago. I had a great trip.

There are a few people I would like to thank:

Wabbit and Christine: thx for leading top of the world and for the motion sickness pills, they really helped me get through the trail

Perri and his father: thx for spotting me and others on the top of the world ledge

Perri Terri and Patrick: Thx for the raffle prizes. I got the weather radio and am anxious to try it out.

Climbnkd: thx for the ride to the end of the trail after that obstacle I did not make.

Rick and Gerald: Thx for making this trip possible

And any others who I have forgotten

As I said, I had a fun time despite being really sick for most of the weekend. I am doing better as I slept for most of the 7 hours home. I will post pics and possibly video as I find time to upload them. Thanks everyone for comming and making this an enjoyable trip.

Heath, the other people you know that are in the pic is Mattadams and Perry's folks. Other than that you wouldn't know anyone else...so don't feel bad that you didn't know any more of the trucks!!!!

someone else brought it up in the "vegas broke a piaa! thread" but I was trying to think of everyone that broke stuff this weekend... hopefully everyone that broke stuff...

mudd***** and his rear seal in his transmission (by the way mudd***** your girlfriend was hilarious you guys need to come to more events!)

Joe Dietz'es rear seal went out on the way into Moab.

Leebo boiled his transmission fluid or something on top of the world. Hopefully he'll make it to Vegas ok.

Rick broke a bracket on his front steering. We were abnle to weld on-trail but not completely... fly-n-hi will be working on that one.

Dave Meisner broke a u-joint, was able to replace the whole axle shaft on the gold bar rim trail.

Guy and Rick both had compressors going goofy, I think Guy got his fixed on the trail...

Alec got a flat tire (Alec sorry for picking on your girlfriend... hope shes over it, LOL)

I thought my tie rod had gone bad again but i think its ok, it was just loose. Also my oil pressure gauge was fluctuating quite severely but I think it'll be ok, probably just a bad guage.

Numerous little scratches and bumper scrapes.

I hope that covers everyone...

We Came....We Saw....We KICKED SOME J@@P BUTT

WOW!!!! This place and the members simply amaze me. I'm not sure if I ever saw a view like this. I'm just unpacking and uploading my pics.......Heres a quick peak.

Post Moab

I just finished uploading my pics to the net. MAN I HATE AUTO FOCUS. Sorry for the pics not being the best, but they're better than nothing.....so back off!!

I'm calling the tranny shop that rebuilt my tranny today to get it put back into the shop to check everything out as well as to flush the fluid, and I've also got to get a new tire. Guess a rock bit into one of my sidewalls a bit. OOPS. I really did have a blast and I can't wait to do it again. I'm not sure if CCR2001 is in my plans yet, but I know a return trip to Moab is. :)
