Well I just got home and I'm glad I'm done fighting the WINDS. Friday was the best day out there. Rick, Mark and I got there in the afternoon and the weather was very pleasant. Friday evening the weather was still nice and everyone who was just arriving got to see an outside evening drive up movie and then Directv from the Satil. dish provided the rest of the evening's entertainment. Sat. morning was still nice with a little breeze and we all loaded up our truck's for a morning run. By noon ALL H--- broke out. The wind and sand were to much. We all spent the rest of Sat. inside the coach watching off-road movie's provided by Spotterguy (Winter). There was only one minor carnage by RJ friend. He broke off a valve stem and they had to go back to camp for his spare tire. By late Sat. nite ( I was already in bed) the wind had die down and a few of the guy's did a nite run. By then they also were able to have a fire (12:30 pm). Today Sun. the weather was pleasant when I left at 10:00 am. but by the time I reach Palm Spring's on I-10 all H--- broke out again with the wind's. Not fun in a 38' RV. Anyway I think we all had a good time inspite of the wind's and the last TH for the season, until next Oct.
