Yup! Changed our minds about that other place, and we're now going to LOS COYOTES!:bounce:

LCIR (Los Coyotes Indian Reservation) is located in northern San Diego county, a few miles east of Warner Springs, which is on Rte. 79 out of Temecula. It has many trails of all levels, from fire roads to ( ). A big meadow for camping, with portapottys, no water, and no fires right now, due to EXTREME conditions. Two trails are closed right now due to a fire last month.

Check the thread from our trip last weekend for pictures and descriptions.

So far, I'm in and Rick is in.

Here is a map I made in Street Atlas. It shows the route coming from the East on I-10. If you live in CA you should be able to figure out the best route for you.

Dave

Rick, just wondering when you plan to get there, and if Char  is coming?

No Char can't make it. I was thinking of coming up Thursday or Friday. Maybe Thursday just to have some time to relax up there :D I'd be leaving on Sunday.

Rick - they aren't open on thursday. Friday morning, to sunday afternoon, if I remember correctly.

Ahh ok, that settles that. I'm going to need exact directions from Warner Springs or whatever point on my route will be easiest.

I hear you.

Good lord just wish I could read that map!

Hey Rick if you still want to come on Thursday you're more than welcome to stay at my place in Carlsbad. I'll be off all that week. That way you and RangerX can leave together on Friday. Bill lives a stone throw and a hoot from me. We can do some surfing:D Surfs up this week.

Anyway let me know, ReEtte and I would love to have you as a guest.;) I'll probaly go on Saturday.

Tom do you have room for the whole rig (Dodge with the trailer)? If so that would be great.

You're coming on Saturday... does that mean... could it be????

Yeah, we can either park the rig in front of the house or at Bill's. No problemo:thumbsup:

No.:( I'll be hitching a ride. I'm trying to convince 4X4Dr. to come along. We'll see.

Just let me know your ETA so I can plan where to take you to dinner. You got my address so plug it into mapquest. See ya.:D

So I take it that this run is going to be a Big Dawgs hardcore run? I'm not ready for that yet...

I'm sure the run wont be exclusive to the hardcore trails...take El Hill for instance, only 2 rigs out of our group were crazy enough to run up it and thats because they were drunk...lol
