I have an opportunity to buy a set of 17 inch rims off a 2011 Jeep Wrangler. They are a 5x5 lug pattern where the explorer is a 5x4.5. Some sites say it'll work. I just dont want to waste my money. Any help is much appreciated.

no they will not work, you could get 5x4.5 to 5x5 spacer adapters but those are always iffy and people tend to shy away from those
