Hey I just removed my stock running boards from my 94 eddie bauer because it was rusting real bad, now I going to cut off the rusted stuff repair it up and bondo it for a temporary fix. My question is that now Im left with the holes left behind from the old running boards and I was thinking I could buy or find a panel from another explorer that came without running boards and cover it up(allong with my assumed crappy body work) I'm trying to stay as much as I can away from welding and buying new rocker panels. Would this a option for me, or does anyone know of another way? Thanks
P.S. Just did that cut air box mod and it works good. I now have a deeper, throater sound and a little faster start. not bad

Just go to your local auto body supply store and order new rocker panels. THey are not that expensive, and you can just install them. Then you have brand new metal and don't have to worry about the holes either.

Hoppy
