Got a few hours to work on the BII tank swap. Have to work tommorow :fire: so no TDS run for me next weekend. I still need to figure out the filler hose, put a few straps on the tank, drill a few holes in the skidplate for the mounts, cut a support under the bed out of the way, then paint it and it will all be done.
Now as far as the plumbing for the fuel lines, vent, and electrical.
The electrical is pretty basic. Took the 4 wires cut them and added a few feet to them, put them in a harness and that was done.
The plumbing here is how I did it. At NAPA they sell 25 feet of the nylon fuel hose to extend it Both the feed and return line are 5/16" line. Part number 730-4958. It costs around $50

I only used like 7 feet. Anyone want to buy some fuel line

Then I just cut the stock fuel line 6" from the end. I then used NAPA part number 730-4911 to splice in the extra line. They come 2 to a pack and you need 2 packs (4 total) of them. I resued one of the ends that I cut off the original lines, I could have reused both but had a un needed piece laying around that I bought earlier. Just boil the nylin line in hot water for a minute or two then push the adapter part on. It is a PIA so be ready to yell and swear a bit trying to get them together.
For the vapor line, I picked up about 4 feet of 1/4" vacume line and a plastic pice to splice to female ends together and that is how I extended it.
I havent tested for leaks yet cause I still need to clean up the tank I have and dont want to put gas in it yet.
