Roof Lights

Hello everyone, I have a new 15 XSport about a week old. I am looking for some help. I need to get a 12v wire pair to the roof for an emergency light. relatively low current as this is LED low amperage. I am not worried about the inside but how to get it to roof rack area without poking a hole in the sheet metal. Are there any tricks you guys have you could share..

Run it out the back hatch through the rain channel, then along the roof rack?
