Roof Molding to replace roof rack

Hey guys, new to the forums. I read a lot about people wanting to take off their roof racks and just came across this from ebay to cover the existing holes left from the rack.

I haven't heard of anyone or seen this on an installed vehicle, but I can tell you the roof rack is secured by two bolts front and rear either side. Caps pull off quite simply (rear has to be removed to install cross members used for cargo systems) If one wanted to remove it I would think some color matching silicone in the bolt hole done properly would make it difficult to see except for a semi driver looking at your roof at a red light.
