My 1999 4.0L OHV is struggling. It has 198,000 miles. I am trying to see if I did something to cause it, or maybe it is bad karma. It started after I got an oil change. While at getting the oil change, I had them do the engine cleaner junk, and an engine treatment.
The next day, the car is bucking, and rough idle, and such. It could be just bad timing.
About a year ago, I had the fuel pump replaced, and the fuel filter. About the same time, I replace the spark plugs, wires, and coil pack.
Any idea where to start? I just finished replacing the upper control arms, lower ball joints, front and rear shocks, the outer tie rod ends, and of course an alignment. I hoped this work would get me through to next spring.
I could really use some guidance.
