My 2003 Ranger 3.0 Is Cruising On The Interstate At 65mph And Rpm's Are Very High At 2500 To 2600 Rpms This Is High, Is There A Sensor Problem The Truck Is Using Way To Much Fuel It Does Not Idle Back At This Cruising Speed, What Is The Problem? Is It A Throttle Control Se

It could be a tps or Maf issue-causing the torque converter to stay "unlocked"

try disconnecting the battery, and clean the MAF sensor. Then go for a drive , see if it doesn't behave after showing it who is boss.

The sensor is right behind ( downstream of ) the air filter
 












I would also check the shift linkage. Cound down from park and ignore the PRNDL.
 






Is your overdrive on? I haven't driven my kids Ranger in a while so I don't know the range.
