The other night while heading home my Explorer quit. I thought I had run out of gas so I called for help. After some gas had arrived(about 45mins) the truck would start but would run rough and kept stalling. I used two feet to get it home. After checking some things (EGR,DPFE,vacuum solinoid) everything seemed to be ok. When I removed the IAC the truck would stay running but at a much higher RPM. If I restricted the port in the throttle body the rpm would come down to a reasonable level. Could the IAC be the culprit? Also I noticed that only the port closest to the front had vacuum, the other one had none. Is it plugged or is it supposed to be like that. There was also a smell of unburned fuel when I drove it home. Any help would be appreciated as this is my only vehicle right now. Thanks
