Running wires through firewall

I need to run some wires through the firewall of my '97. One small pair of wires to simply run to a switch for new lights, and one 4 gauge wire to run to the amps I am installing. I haven't looked terribly hard yet, but am having a tough time finding any existing grommets in the firewall that are easy to access from both under the hood as well as inside the cabin. Any help?

I just drilled a hole in mine. After searching forever I just gave up. I drilled in the passengers firewall and sealed it with silicon.

Thanks for the reply. I'm thinking of doing the same thing, but I want to avoid a costly screw-up of drilling through something I really didn't want to. I saw some nice pictures on Jason Alday's site http://www.3drant.com/about/jay/Mountaineer/
and I might give that a shot too.
