rusted out left rear quater panel?

hi all, the left rear quarter panel, around the fuel tank is severly rusted (i can stick my hand in behind the panel thrue the hole) does anybody know a cheap fix for this?

i had the same problem. It is actually pretty common. I see explorers all the time with that area rusted out.

The way to take care of it is cut out all the rusted metal and get new metal in its place. once you have a good solid backing again then you can use body filler to finish it off.

paint on top of that.

that kinda makes it sound easier than it is, but the basic idea is there
