Rusted Out panel under rear passenger door

I have a 91 explorer and under the front and rear doors the panel is rusted out. I have noticed this on many of the early 90s explorers but I can't seem to find a way to fix it because it is part of the whole panel. Does anybody have any good ideas on how I can fix this or at least make it look better.

I cant tell ya where to get them but they do make replacement rocker panels for early explorers.

Mine is the same way. I know a guy that is a good friend of the family and he owns a junk yard. He has a catalog that you can order all parts for cars and trucks out of, including rocker pannel's. He looked it up for me and htey are only like 40bucks each. Then you will have to get them welded in and painted. So that is one option you could check out, just call a yard and see if they can get them and i imagine it is much cheaper than a dealer price. Also there was a thread on here awhile back you might look for, it described how to fix it with a fiberglass filler/compound. Hope this helps!
