Well, I searched and searched and searched and couldn't find anything on this... I just recently bought a 93 ranger 2x4 with a 2.3l 5 speed. I do know that the rear shocks need replaced but the front left corner of the truck sits lower then the right side. I checked out the spring and its in good shape. Would the shock make this happen? Thanks for any replies

A shock that has lost it's nitrogen gas pressure charge could cause a little bit of a lean, though it wouldn't be a huge amount (maybe ½ inch or so). If it's much more than that I'd be looking at other stuff.
You say you checked the spring, however I would try swapping the springs side-side just to be sure (if the lean follows the spring, then you know where the issue is).

It should also be noted that Rangers lean just a tiny amount to that side by default it seems (probably partly due to the battery & gas tank both being on that side). If everything else checks out OK, you could put a shim or a washer or 2 under that side's coil spring seat to level it out.

It's sagging about 2 or 3" and its bad enough to be a little difficult to get in. Thanks for the help when I get some time, I will try the washers/shims and see how that works out

I'd say that it's your spring. Ride height--i.e., "body lean"--is controlled by the springs. On the other hand, it could also be a bad bushing for the I-beam, causing that beam to flex more so than the other side. By the way, you can't visually check a spring, as it needs to be put under a certain amount of stress in order to be up to spec.

To test a shock, push down on that corner; if it bounces up, down, and then settles, it's good. If it bounces more than that, replace it.
