So Ken (Painter Ken) has been looking for a motor since he swamped his at Tahuya, turns out it was the rod for the #1 cylinder. It was bent so bad that the piston came in contact with the crank causing a complete sieze.
Anyway, so he found a guy that has two Explorers, one he was parting out and the other he was trying to fix. He needed the tranny out of the parts truck to fix the two door and we needed the motor. I offered to swap the tranny's for the cost of the motor but after getting to his house Saturday about 4pm, we were running out of time, so I offered him $200 for the motor and the manual t-case (bonus) behind the tranny that he needed to keep and he even provided free delivery.
Spent Sunday putting that motor in Ken's rig and it is now up and running and I have a BW 1354 manual t-case for my BII project.
