i have a 95 ex and was putting a 98+ dual media unit in so i did my normal search and came up with all kinds of diagrams to do it. when i bought the new cd i also got the wire harness. after reading the wiring diagrams i found, i cut the old plugs off (they were already cut once before and i thought i could clean it up). well now i have extra wires, here's what i've got so any help would be great.
extra wires form the truck....
2 - lt. blue/red stripe (tie it to the other ones of the same color?)
1- black/green stripe (tie it to the other ones of the same color?)
1-black (tie it to the other ones of the same color?)
1 - grey
1- blue
2 - bare wires taped together
speaker wires? 1 of each
yellow
white/red stripe
white/orange stripe
lt. blue
lt. blue/black stripe
brown
purple/white stripe
light green
extra wires from the radio
2- red/black stripe
1-lt. blue/red stripe (tie it to the other ones of the same color?)
2- black/green stripe (tie it to the other ones of the same color?)
2-black (tie it to the other ones of the same color?)
1-grey/black stripe
1-grey
i have identified all the speaker wires
i was able to tie all the rest to like colors. i know that i have some wires that match but i didn't know if i should tie them together. any help would be great.
