My son recently had a front end wreck. We replaced the left headlight assembly, but the right one appeared OK. No cracks or scratches. The wreck also occurred during a 60 day period where we had no rain. When the first rain hit, moisture found its way into the right headlight assembly.

Has anyone had any luck with resealing one of these headlight assemblies?

Heat it up and compress it with a clamp while it cools? I've not had much luck with these plastic housings though, thankfully they are pretty inexpensive.

I've opened both of mine up (using the oven) to paint the chrome and they both resealed moisture tight. The lens to housing seal is pretty straitforward. My guess is there is a crack to the black housing on the backside. Good used one might be the best bet.
