Sealing sunroof closed with silicone

Well... I've decided that, since my sunroof motor is very weak, & since I'm pretty poor ATM, I'm just gonna silicone the leaking SOB shut.... Permanently! But someone advised me "not to forget to detach the power coupling," I believe it was. Anyone have any idea what he was alluding to???

id lean to maybe the sunroof motor? so if ya accidentally hit th ebutton/switch it wont open
