I recently purchased a 2003 Explorer Sport Trac and was wondering if anything can be done about the seat belt alarm. If you don't buckle the seat belt on the driver's side a bell goes off every 30 seconds or so until you buckle it. Can this be disabled?

Probably, but there's a reason that chime is there. Please wear your seatbelt!! There is no excuse for not wearing one.

im sure there is a way but i agree with majisto, just wear it

Under the buckle end, there is a wire that activates the sensor. I'd image you could just pull the plug and put in a jumper wire or something, to complete the connection. Then just tape it all up, ad that should be it.

I'm at work right now, so I can confirm if this would work, but it sounds reasonable...:)
