I just put in a Pioneer HD unit and had to do the amp bypass with the Crutchfield kit. I had to romove the two right side seat belt top anchor bolts. I've put everything back together but am wondering if I should torque the seat belt anchor bolts? I'm sure I should but what ftpounds do I do it at? Thanks, Chris

Just get them as tight as you can. There is no spec. for how tight they need to be.

My service manual specifies 30 ft/lbs of torque with medium strength threadlocker. I would skip the locker though, as they are a real female dog to remove if they are locked in, and sometimes it is necessary to remove them.

Yes, the service manual for 97 calls out 24.9 - 33.8 ft lbs or 34-46 Nm if youre into the metric system.
