Seat Belt Buckle

Has anyone had an issue with the seat belt buckle. The button on mine will not return, thus, not allow the belt to lock to the buckle. This is the second time since I've owned it that I've had to place it.

Spray some lube into your latch. That should get you sorted out. Get the stuff for bike chains and cables and such, it doesn't pull in as much dust.

+1 Unless the spring is broken. Tri-Flow or something PTFE (Teflon) based.
Use the buckle to clip and unclip to free it up. BTW, it has a very nice smell.

Unfortunately, the spring holding the yellow plastic clip broke and disengaged from the buckle mechanism on the bottom. When I get the new one, I will take it apart and see how it works. Should have done that to the first one, then may be I would have been able to fix this one. Who knows...

Oh, sorry to hear that. Well, at least they are simple to replace. I lube things like these every now and then as preventative maintenance.
