seat cover replacement for driver seat

so most PUI owners have the same issue - a worn seat cushion on the driver's seat where someone slid in and out 3 million times.

any insight or experience with replacing the cloth factory seat covers?

apologies if this has been covered - i tried to search it 3 ways on the forum and didn't find anything

gotcha - thank you. i must have been way too specific with the combination of search keywords. i was actually looking to remove and replace in kind the fabric on my PUI seat. Probably not worth the effort and cost compared to the many solutions out there for seat covers

I grabbed a set of neoprene ones from Costco for like $20 for the pair. They match well and I like em.

Are they 'breathable' for those that have heated seats?

They are liquid resistant... so my guess would be no on breathable. That said, do they need to be breathable for thermal conduction to occur? Or do the seat heaters need to be able to bleed off heat for reliability/fire hazard purposes?

Here is what the Owner's Manual states;
Do not place anything on the seat that insulates against
heat, such as a blanket or cushion, because this may cause the seat
heater to overheat.

Not an issue on my car, but yeah, i would gather they wouldnt work well with a heater.
