I have a 1999 exploer 4X4 sport that when i got in it two days ago after running fine would not let me give it any gas when in neutral or when i put it in gear if i just push the pedal past an eighth of an inch it runs very rough or stalls it idles ok and if i play with the pedal i can rev it up but still breaks aparts checked the fuel filter and pump pressure and both are fine.I scanned it with my buddies scanner an it said pedal positioning sensor low voltage and something about the seloniod in the tranny. I took it in to have the guy at the shop tell me what was wrong and he is telling me that the only code he got was the selonoid problem low voltage and that it was stuck in 4th gear he says that the problem with the engine is being caused by the selonoid problem It just don't sound right to me. I have the 4 solenoids out but want to know if i chack them with a ohm meter to see if their good
Thanks Haney
