Nice pics Rick!
This is the first pic I've been able to find of the car a couple of my Snap On customers built. It recieved the trophy for the best Mid-Sized GM vehicle.
I was there for the build up, every step of the way, from the raw Colorado truck to the finished interior stitching. They built that baby FAST as well... Only a couple weeks from beginning to end.
The entire rear half is tube, with air all around. The bed is totally welded, with filler panels to cover the new wheel wells. The body and paint was handled by Jeremy Thompson, of Goodguys, Louisville and the interior was done by Billy Scott of Scott Rods, Louisville. Great craftsman. I know that I got the call to deliver special tools after hours a couple of times so that thing could get built!
(Billy Scott also did the arm rest for the console in my 97 Explorer... pays to have friends that do great work!)
