Shadow Lights

First post and I hope I can make sense of what I need help with.

I have a 2015 Explorer and the low beam headlights seem to have a horizontal shadow and I can only see about 100 ft in the dark. Its like I keep trying to see under this shadow. For an old fart like me its scary not knowing where the road is.

I thank you in advance for any help.

Are you referring to the dark space directly infront of the truck, between the front of the truck and the closest point of light provided by the headlights?

If so, you shouldn't be focusing that closely. That said, what you are looking for is a decent set of fog lights, mounted low on the front of the vehicle.
