New to the Forum .... Hello all...

At any rate, on my wifes 99 XLT she noticed the shift indicator is 1/2 a position to the right..

For instace if she is in park its between park and Nuetral ... I know somone said there is an adjuster, is it in the steering columb or in the actual dash...

Thanks!
Eric

shift indicator

I had the same problem on my 99 sport. If you remove the panel below the
steering column, you will see another panel with i think six 8 mm bolts.
remove that panel also. Look up at the shift handle and you will see the shift
indicator cable, that goes through a geared wheel on a white clip and you can adjust it right or left.
