OK Guys, Heres the deal. My new shocks got delivered today. I got the Monroe Coilovers for the rear for my 95 XLT 4x4. I got the Monroe Reflex Shocks for the front. But from the very beginning ive been wanting to have coil Overs for the front as well and I think i found one that Monroe makes that would work but i have some questions and need some advice.
1) When refering to a shock what does the number (i.e. 60, 45, 37 ) refer too.
2) The Monroe coil overs i want to use for the front are designed to be used in the rear of a Ford Windstar Van. To put them in id have to install Barpin eliminators for the lower mount and Loop to stem conversion mounts for the top.
As you can see the mod bug got me.
Questions.
1) What kinda of results do you think would be the outcome if i did this?
2) Is it feasable?
3) Besides the simple "stiffer ride" what would be the down falls of having a stiffer shock on the front?
Ok guys any help or opinions are definitely wanted. So have at it. :exporange
