Which shock do you think would be better for me to run. I have 7.5 inchs of lift, This truck is my daily driver and occasional offroader(not a showtruck by any means). Anyways, Im not looking for a carlike ride here, I was just wanting something a little less harsh than the skyjakers.

here are the two I was looking at.

Billstein 5150

or
ProComp MX6

or if anyone else has anything in mind thats close to those please let me know

Alec, in a test, didnt they say that the MX6 Was a little nicer than the 9000?
Thats the only reason I didnt list that one. I honestley dont know.

Thanks
Ryan

you can get the bilsteins for the same price as the rancho 9000's and they are better shocks. i am about to take the skyjacker shocks off of mine and put the bilsteins on as soon as i save some money up

I actually just found the 9000x's I was just getting ready to post that I couldnt find them those look like they would be great too.

Alec when I was comparing the MX6's to the 9000's I was refering to the older 5 position 9000's. I believe the 9000x is rancho's answer to the MX^

Dgibson are you talking about the 5150's have you heard good things about them?

What I like about both the Rancho 9000X and the PC MX6 is the adjustability. Are the Bil 5150s adjustable? They may be very good and have the reservoir, but adjustability is great.

it's either those or the adjustable bilstein's. i'm not exactly sure, the owner of one of the local 4x4 shops was going to order me some. i pretty much go off of his recommendation. he really knows his stuff, and i usually get a pretty good deal on all of my equipment

I'd definitely go with bilstein. aren't happy with the ride or whatever, they can be re-valved fairly easily.
