Shocks and towing.

I'm looking for a shock that will replace the OE shocks on my 2005 Eddie Bauer Explorer. I'm looking for a "load leveling" type of shock. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks....

i hope you are not talking about the ones with the springs around the outside of them, ,

just climb under the back of your Explorer and look at what holds the shocks in place at the top,,

a pressed metal piece,, not very strong at all, and certainly not made to hold up the whole back end of the truck, ,
,maybe look into some airbags, or maybe an add a leaf to help with the extra weight of the trailer, ,
