Is there a good short throw shifter for SUVs or trucks out there?

A Hurst short-shifter for the Rangers work on the M5ODs. But the 3rd gen 5speeds are not M5ODs are they? Aren't they something else?

wikipedia says it was the m5od-r1hd, so the hurst shifter should work.
