Shortening warrior shackles...

Just trying to do some preliminary figuring tonight before I have a chance to measure tomorrow, has anyone ever shorten the warriors without cutting into the center section. I'm doing a spring over and don't have my stock ones anymore, if I could get the warriors to like 6" center to center that would be good I think, any ideas?

I can send you a pair of stock if you want, I have two pair sitting in the garage.

wont that somewhat limit their ability to flex more? why not just get some stock ones?

I was going to get some stock ones but dealership cost was $33 a side. I found some that'll work at the local parts store though, thanks guys.

I have a set that came with the James Duff 2.5" lift and I was wanting to get a set of Warriors.

The Duff ones were 6.5" long If I remember correctly (I used War-153 instead of duff on our Duff lift)
