should i bother to take out the stock amp from my 92 eb ?

I have a 92 eb with premium sound and as I can see at http://www.carstereohelp.com/stereoremoval.htm it takes some time to take out the stock amp. can some one give me the spec. of this amp. ?

You don't have to remove it, but I would definately bypass it when installing a new HU. Leaving it in could damage your speakers (actually heard of it damaging a new HU, but I don't know how) or just cause bad sound. Some report leaving it hooked up with good results, but that's few and far between.
