Should I buy this 2007 limited?

I have a 2002 EB v6 with about 110k miles on it. Bought it used with new trans and has been problem free.

I'm looking at a 2007 limited v8 with nav at 55k miles for $16k. One owner with records. Drives much nicer than mine and a lot more safety features. The 6 speed trans worries me with all te negative comments here.

Any thoughts on this? 3rd row, more power, and dvd plus nav and safety are the bigthings for me. I think fuel econ will be about the same.

Sounds like a pretty good deal to me. If you test drive it and can't seem to find any problems with the trans then don't worry about it. Just make sure you test it where you sort of quickly come to a stop and then get on the gas again quickly to see if it bucks. Just give it a good test drive.

I have 137 k miles on my 06 v8 with 6 speed, and that includes towing and plowing. That tranny is similar to the one in F150, I hope to get 200k miles out of it. Sounds like a nice truck that 07.
