Should I level my x?

Using jutgin's x, I did a quick photoshop usings my truck. Note that the orientation is slightly off because of the angles of the pictures but its pretty close. How's it look? I personally think it looks nasty.

Thanks dude. I agree, I think it'll look sick once it's done. Now i just gotta figure out the tire situation.....

They are 2 in the front and 1.5 in the back.

By nasty do you mean they look good or bad? This annoys me to no end.....how hard is it to just say what you mean? Being a big fan of grammar, I'm taking this to mean that you don't like the way it looks. In that case, don't do it...:rolleyes::rolleyes:

Here is mine with 265's.

This is my Ex with a 2.25" front spacer and a 2" rear spacer. Tires are 265/75R16 (32"). You prob don't want to lift it at all if you want to keep the tires you have. As for the start of this thread about levelling, you DO NOT want a bigger rear spacer than front if you go ahead with it. Please note my back end is still higher than the front and my front spacer is 1/4" bigger.

My opinion, if you want to keep your tires , leave it alone. If you are willing to fork over $$$ for new rubber, lift away. With my lift being what it is, I'm moving up to a bigger tire because I think my 32's look too small. Hope this gives you some assisstance with your decision.

hors and Cozmik,
How much space did you guys have between your rear tires and the body cladding on the wheel arch of your rear doors?? Any rubbing there during travel? Mine is only 2" on the driver side with the 235/70r16 stock size. I dont see how I can fit in a 265/75 in there....

There was a couple of inches but the way independent suspension works you wont have to worry about the rubbing even with the travel.

I haven't measured, but its enough room that it's never rubbed, either stock or lifted. As I mentioned in another thread, I've now run 2 different 265's on stock suspension with no troubles.

I measured from the ground up to the top of the wheel well front and back and came up with a 3/4's inch difference. I think I'm gonna go with 2.5/1.75 because my tires seem to fill up the wells pretty nicely now so i don't think the 2.5 inches will make it look bad. And if it does, there's my excuse to kill a grand on tires and body lift:D

cozmik...

you say your 265's look small in your opinion...

could i ask a favor of you ?

could you take a close up pic of the tire in the front / rear wheel wells, for size comparisons ???
