show me bumper mounts

I am looking for ideas for a very very strong way to mount a bumper on my x. i no longer have the frame horns(?) that were the original bumper brackets. I love the 'show us your custom bumpers' thread, but they don't show any mounting brackets. Some pics would be hugely appreciated. Thanks

I guess this depends on the bumper you're trying to put on. But I'm going to throw mine out there just to hopefully spark some ideas:

In my situation, I capped off the frame rails after slicing off the "ears" on the frame rails. Then 1/4" thick tabs (the ones with holes) were welded on. The bumper then bolts to the smaller 1/2" holes (3 per tab) on the tabs.
