Just wondering how many people have the 4-piece side window deflectors for their X's. I'm thinking about getting a set, partly to aid the look of having black plastic flow from the bug deflector up front to the most likely uncolored Lund Windjammer in back.

I don't have any on my X, but I had a pair on the '95 ranger I had, and they were great!
I highly recommend the style that snaps into the window channel, no tape to mess with and/or no holes to drill!

Yep,
Had them on for almost 2 years now. They do work well, and expecially here in HOT Texas they allow me to leave the windows cracked down a bit while parked.
I have the AutoVentshade 4 piece set. The fronts snap in place and the rear ones have a strip of 3M tape to help hold in place...initially. After a couple of days, the rear ones are there for good.
You will like having them.
Ken

Ive had mine on for 7 years.. they came with the truck right from the factory... i love them. mine are the in-channel ones.. I have all 4

I have a set on my 94 but I'm taking them off. They are the autoventshade ones also & they tape inside the window channel. The only one that works is the drivers side cause the rest of them for some reason hit the window ends when I try to close the window. I have to get out & push the deflector out to get the window to close. I also don't like that they make the windows balloon out when they are closed. I guess that's because of the tight fit from the window, plus the deflector in the window channel.

I have them on my '94 and they are great. I will put them on the '00 whenever I get some extra cash. It is nice to leave the windows down a little and not worry about rain and it does help keep the car cooler on those hot days.

this exact same thing happens to me on my 01 sport, and i hate it. same window too, driver's side is fine and never gives me any problems.

I had the same problem on my 91 but i realized it's cuz i did a crappy job on my passenger side and payed way more attention to the drivers side. i fixed it though since i noticed it right away and was able to adjust it a little up and to the rear.

I have the front ones ('cause I have a Sport) and the are great. I installed them and they are the tape on in channel ones. I don't know if anyone is still making them, but I concidered the larger ones (clear, not tinted and come out and down further into the window opening for the front windows). The only complaint I have about the regular ones is they really don't keep the rain out when you're stopped at te drive-in window...lol.

I have the WeatherFlector's by WeatherTec...

I went with them b/c they are more transparent than the AutoVentshades ones. My dad put a pair of the AutoVentshades ones on his mounty and took them off the next day b/c you can't see through em. They make the A pillar really thick, and I drove with them on and darn near pulled out in front of a car b/c i couldn't see it coming. Mine are nice b/c you can still see through them. they also snap into the window channel.

Those look good. Where did you get them and about how much did you pay?

Got 'em too. I wouldn't have a vehicle with out them!

With tinted windows you can hardly tell they're there.

They're more expensive than the AutoVentshades (which are around $35) but after almost pulling out infront of that car at the intersection, for me it was worth the extra money when it comes to safety. I got mine at AutoBarn... for $55

These are also a 3mm thick acrylic instead of that thin plastic that the AutoVentshades are made out of.. I mean, not like these things take any sort of abuse or wear (maybe on the trail), but I figured i would still point it out

i have em and love em. the best is when its raining and ou dont have to worry about keeping your windows shut and fogging them up, just crack them and youre all set.
