I have a decent gearbox (Or at least it LOOKS like it's decent) and it already has a pitman arm on it. The guy I got it from said it is from a 2WD and that I would need to put my 4WD arm on...it that the case or are they interchangeable?

*looks sheepish at not knowing that bit of info herself, and not being able to find it without asking...*

If you gonna change the gearbox out just take it out and then compare the two before you pull either off.

I dont see why it would be any diff. Possibly a thickness change??? not sure

...what's a wuestion????

...sorry, i just couldn't help myself...:D

..the only thing that might be dif is how it is indexed, the splines on the inside of the pitman need to match what you are putting it on...;)

I think they would be the same since Rangers and Explorer are all Knuckle draggers from the factory unless you lift them.

so unless you have a lift in it then i am thinking it might be the same.

*ROFLMAO at her own speeeeling mistake*

Hey Mods, can someone please fix it? Pretty please with fresh homemade fudge or cookies or....well, you get the picture...

*looking really sheepish since she is a real spelling nazi at times* :p:
