Simple question about Remote Keyless Entry

I already know how to program it, from the great FAQ section of this board

Now all I need to know is will a 2001 Explorer keyless entry remote work for a 1998?

I believe it does, but before I buy it from EBAY I want to make sure it is going to work.

I got an e-mail back from the EBAY seller saying it does not work, can someone confirm this though

It'll work. As long as the remote buttons are pictures instead of words.
