I'd like to get a little more bass from my '00. I've got two of the factory sub amps that I thought I might try on two 8"s. Might not wok too well, but I can buy an amp if the sound isn't what I'm looking for. I've read many posts that say not to use the factory amps, but what are the specs. Does anyone know how much power these amps have and what is the ohm rating of the factory sub. I'm not very familiar with the mach systems, so I'm not really sure how they are set up. Does the factory amp have some sort of crossover or is there a sub out channel from the head unit that cuts highs? Basically I'd like to know If I can come off the harness directly at the factory sub amp with a line out converter without having to put one behind the head unit. Thank's for your help.
