Where- Slaughterhouse Gulch

Who all is going- Myself, hopefully a few people from RMFTC, and my buddy Will and his off road team he's started up.

Where to meet up- The loaf and Jug off 285 and CR 43A at 10am, roll out around 10:30am

My buddy Will is starting up an off road club here in town. Thus far he has 7 or so rigs in it, all slightly modified, nothing crazy or extreme. They wanted to scope out a couple of the trails around so they had places to start to go wheel they could get familiar with. I offered to head up the Slaughterhouse run to get them started. Unfortunately I'm only helping Will get the ground stuff done, but not committing myself to his group as I have a few of my own that I'm regular with, the main one being RMFTC. So, here I am seeing about getting a group of other clubs and forums to go enjoy a day of kicking back, relaxing and going out wheeling!

Game plan- Meet up at the Loaf and Jug at 10am, roll out at 10:30 as to let some running behind catch up. Caravan to the trail, run it to the cattle gate then break for lunch. From there we'll continue and run it till we get done, no rush to get back if we don't have to!

Anyone interested from here? I enjoyed running this with those who ran it last year with us!

Dang it is on a Sunday I normally work Sundays.

Sounds fun, would be a good test run for the BII if I get it back together in time

I doubt the snow will be gone enough to make the entire loop, but we can sure try!

Awesome. Hopefully we'll be clear of snow by then, drove by the area on Saturday on my way back from China Wall, seemed pretty dry.

One realization I made was thats mothers day weekend, but we're still on, so it should be a good day!

Last year it was June before the loop was all the way open, it may be dry but there are DRIFTS that will stop all rigs

this is true. Hopefully it'll work out, Ran it in late May last year and made the loop, had mud but that was about it.

DUE TO ISSUES BEYOND MY CONTROL, THIS TRIP HAS BEEN CANCELLED FOR THE TIME BEING

I will reschedule at a later date, however due to life circumstances, I am unable to afford to make this trip from a financial stand point. I apologize for the inconvenience, I wish I could continue with it, however it would not be smart for me to continue with this trip for now. I will try and reschedule it later in the summer, but at the current time I am cancelling it.
