All:

I did search, but most threads reference older models. I went through about 100 of them and gave up. :)

I have a 2016 PIU which came in very good shape. It was a commander's vehicle. 500 idle hours. 78k miles. Almost no upfitting at all - 2 LED lights in the rear hatch, that was it; no spotlight, no center console, no antenna holes. I do not believe this vehicle was abused much, if at all. No dents, no dings, no scuffs inside or out.

It has developed a slight tick which is probably from the engine compartment (probably 1/rev), but only after the engine has started to warm up, but likely before the oil is at operating temperature. That is to say, no ticking on cold startup, but after 2-3 minutes it will be there, then it goes away after 8-9 minutes of use.

I've read various things about stuck hydraulic lifters, timing belts and oil pressure, but thought I'd ask about this specific situation.

Pointers to other threads that I might have missed would be appreciated too!

Thanks in advance!
