small bolt brake caliper torque

I've seen a bunch of different torque values for the little bolts that hold on the brake calipers. Not the big ones that bolt to the hub but the two little ones with the springy rubber things behind them. Sorry for the great terminology :cool:

Anyway, From what I've found, 80ft-lbs seems to be it but that seems like an awful lot for such small bolts. I really don't want to shear them off. When I took them off recently, they were very loose and I saw the thread about tightening them up. Thanks for the help.
 












I know I did more than 20 with my german technique - good n tite. I was looking for more of an official number. Thanks though.
