SNJ'S new obsesion... 97 HD Sportster 1200C

so yea, ive been ignoring this forum and the truck for a bit, and heres why...

ive always wanted to ride, increasingly so in recent years. my fathers ridden for years but i never bit the bullet untill now.

Picked up a 1997 XL 1200C Sportster recently and even though spring hasnt fully sprung ive been ridding the pants off it

Looks great! Great bike with all sorts of possibilities - - luggage for long distance cruising, go-fast options for speed, some people even (attempt to) make dual sports out of them. . .

Be sure to get some training, the MSF Basic and Advanced Riders Courses are quite good.

bikes been getting a bunch of changes lately to make it both more comfortable and my own

new grips, nice new cushy ones compared to the stock skinny hard rubber ones
new mirrors, as the old ones vibrated to much
new foot pegs, iso anti vibration style
a frenched healight bezel
a tank bra so i stop hittin it with my belt and what not
better air filter
added a handlebar mount clock and thermometer set, i dont wear a watch
