So Cal mini Roundup Sat Sept.7th

Hey Everyone,

A few of us are getting together tomorrow to just chill. Right now it's only 3 of us, hopefully it will be more with this post. If we get enough interested we can do a mini run, or play around, or hang out somewhere and work on the trucks. Email me xplodor01@aol.com to let me know if your intesterested, then I'll pick a centralized location we can meet and decide. I think most of us are free by 12:00pm tomorrow.

Just so you know. Even with how often I'm on the board I didn't see this post until now, and would have loved to do something that day. You really need to give a week or more of warning in order to get any interest from the forum.

it was cool, we just got together at in-n-out (i went the wrong way and was 30 mins late ) and we did a little messing around off of a fire trail in the hills in corona. it was a lot of fun, even though i barely had enough gas to get home... thanks guys for pitchin in i felt like such a bum but i'll just have to owe you one!

Sorry for the short notice on this one. It was just a thought since I'd been talking to Jason and Chris outside the forum via email the past few days, we decided to get together this last Sat. We had a lot of fun. Next time we'll give alittle warning.

Jefe, next time I'll be sure to email you since I'm eager to see your rig and I owe you a Dr. Pepper =)

Chris, it's totally cool, glad you made it. I hope you had fun, feel free to call whenever you want. I should be done with those quick connects here real soon. You don't owe me anything, just try to make Truckhaven.

Who's Jason?? Yah that was fun. I just went back up on sat. night and my friend got his 4runner stuck! At least it was a lot of fun pulling him out. Getting stuck is so cool...

yah...

take the 91 east, exit maple. Make the first right, by the mobil station. Go up this street about a mile and turn LEFT on Ontario. Go down ontario for about a mile, then turn right on Mangular. This road will take you up right towards the hills. Take the left curve at the top of the road, then make a sharp right onto skyline dr. Then enter the gate which will hopefully be open.

Sorry Chris, its a left on ontario...not a right! Did you get your cb crap? What did you decide on? Did you get an amp for the pa?

well i set up the PA off of a cobra dx III that i have mounted in place of the kleenex box in my armrest, but i havent set up any cb stuff yet. i have a different cb that i was planning on using for cb-ing (cobra 75 wx st) but im not sure if i want to have both cb's in there, i may try to sell the cobra 75 and just use the dx III for both PA and CB. but either way i still dont have an antenna set up, so i cant use either until i get that done.

That sucks. Yah, it'd be cool to have the handheld, but it doesn't have the PA feature. Thats why I didn't get it.
