sohc swap

hi first post here love the info you guys have here but i am in the middle of installing a 97 sohc and auto trans in a 95 ohv explorer the engine and trans are in used 97 engine harness and computer. my question is what other wiring needs to be changed to finish project,as of now the gauges dont work but if you turn on key fuel pump runs and engine starts by jumping solenoid. have not drove but suspect that it wont shift gears at this point. should i change power distribution box under hood. any help would be greatly appeciated

i would just like to add that i have the complete donor vehicle so how much more wiring should i swap

maybe it's not picking up the neutral safety switch?
