I've found quite a bit of information regarding solid axle swaps on Explorers, as well as information on the F150 t-case swap for AWD Explorers, but I haven't found anything about the ABS systems in regards to axle swaps. I have searched, but that doesn't necessarily mean I have searched properly.

Does anyone here know if there are any F150 or F250 axles (front and rear) that can be used in an Explorer and keep the ABS sensors/system working? Either simple plug-and-play (which I doubt) or something that can be modified to work?

I'd like to keep the ABS system completely functional AND have full-size solid axles underneath my '96 Explorer.

I'm not opppsed to doing my own research if any of you can maybe steer me in the right direction, or maybe point me towards a thread or article that talks about this.

Thanks!
