A buddy of mine has a 1995 Dodge Ram 2500 with the 360/5.9 EFI Mangum. He's been having some performance issues, and possibly oil consumption issues so we decided to change his plugs. His front spark plugs looked really good, but as you moved to the rear of the engine on, on both sides, the plugs became progressively more fouled, with the 2 rearmost plugs being nasty.
The fouling was black, almost "ball-shaped" formations around the plug. Putting new plugs in restored performance.
Any ideas?
