Hi everyone, I have just bought a 2000 Explorer and going to change the spark plugs in the service. On looking at the manual it states a gap of .054inch or 1.4mm! Is this correct? as the gap seems very small. Any help grateful

yep. 0.054"

tip: be very careful re-gaping platinum plugs, as you can end up scrapping the platinum off the electrode.

Is there a good way to clean the spark plugs without messing up the platinum
