Hey guys, quick question. I just installed a kenwood double din head unit in my explorer and had to get a special harness to hook into the factory amp. I don't have the jbl system so I guess just an amp and no sub.
It's pretty apparent that I need new speakers too go get any decent sound out of this unit but I have no idea what wattage to go with for the speakers. I assume the factory amp is sized for the factory speakers so I'd probably have to replace that too right? I'm not really sure how it works but I'd like to run high power speakers if possible, I mean why not right? I'll only be replacing the ones in the 4 doors, no sub or anything. Anybody know the power rating on the stock amp?
